Post 9: Changes to my study programme

Hi bloggers , this is the last post and today I going to talk about, what changes I make to my study programme.

When I joined to study Forestry in the University, I imagined something different, now, I see how is the University in the reality. The University of Chile , really this university has serious problems, monetary, infrastructure and study programme in all faculties. In the faculty of forestry, also ,there are many problems like these, in fact, the last year and this , forestry was in strike for all these reasons, and I agree so we fought, because the forestry's infrastructure it is very small, we have few rooms and smallest for the quantity students that are join to the career, besides  we must use rooms of Agronomy.

As to the programme study, I think that the summer practices, should be in the school year or in December, because a lot of vacation time is lost, (around of two weeks), time that students use for work or  enjoy. Other problems, is the few time for the lunch, we are only 45 minutes for lunch, and we have not schedule to practices sports, and we have many class hours for day, these problems  have always been in discussion in the student center, and are topics that were disscusing in the strike ,but it still have no solution.

My favorite TV show

Hi! today I going to talk about the tv show, when I went in the secondary school,  I liked watch the serie "friends",  I watched the serie all days for the warner channel in the lunch hour.

"Friends" it is a serie about the six friends ( three man and three woman) Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Ross and Joey, they are friends since the secondary school, that with the time, they meet again in the "Central Park" a place where  they meet to drink coffee, since that moment they start a  strong relationship of friendship, with the time there is  loving relationship, mess, difficulties, among others.
The serie have ten season and among all episode, I have many favorite episode as when Rachel and Ross finally say they love each other, also when Rachel discovers that she is at pregnant, anyway, there is many episode where there love, passion, and funny things, it is a good serie, where the friendship is above all things.
I recommend you to see this serie, because is very funny and show the important that is the friendship. See you in the next post classmates!

My future job

Hello bloggers!, thinking about the future, it is complicated, because I still can not imagine what will be of me in a few more years. The truth is that I like very much the conservation area, I would be like dedicate myself to that area, because today, there is many degradation and contamination, we are losing all our nature and what little is left. I feel we must recover what we are losing,  because the nature give us life, until a while go the human exploited all natural resources, today it is still doing, but with the discovery of global warming, the world has become aware of all the damage that the human has made it to the earth and today, have been made many conservation plans.

To dedicate to the conservation area, it is the area less paid, but I do not care about that, because the production area I am not interested and it is related with the degradation for the monoculture, I would like to do something for that in Chile there are more natural areas and thus preserve the native species.

I know many of you, also wanted dedicate to the conservation area, because it is something that today it has more impact in the society and above all in the young.

Someone I'd like to meet

In the world there are many famous people, as politician, actors, singer, bands among others. They are person highly respected and admired for people like us.

I do not have any idol, because I do not feel like someone's fans, so I don't have someone  I would like to meet, but I going to invent this post.

If there is someone who I would like to meet, that person would be Sean Paul ( It is the first person that came to my mind), he is a singer of dancehall music, and I like very much this kind of music, because it is a sexy dance, I have always wanted to dance like the nigga people, they have many rhythm.Sean Paul is not a nigga people, but he dance  and sing like them, he have all nigga rhythm

In this summer, Sean Paul came to give a concert in Pichilemu, it was a festival of music, it was the second edition. In the first edition of Surfbeats festival, it came Shaggy, an artist that also play dancehall and reggae music, and I went with my friends, that festival it was very nice, and I wanted to go to the second edition. because now came Sean Paul, I have the money, but my friends this time did not want to go, I stayed with the desire to meet him.

Post 6: Postgraduate Studies.

Hello everyone! in this post, I going to talk about the postgraduate studies.

The true is that I wanted to study another career, medicine veterinary, but for my score I can not join to veterinary, my other option it was forestry, I was very attracted to this career, because one of the postgraduate  it was  for specialize in " Ciencias silvoagropecuarias y veterinarias", I think that when I finish studying forestry, I would do this postgraduate, but now I know better the career forestry and not even I think in specialize  in the animal área. In this two years I liked it so much forestry and everything related with tree and ecosystem, that now I think specialize in conservation area, this career it has an postgraduate related with conservation , it called wild areas and nature conservation.

I think that the conservation area, now it will has more work, because  today the people are more interested in care for the environment, the people are seeing the reality of today, that the different business contaminate and degrade many ecosystems and now is becoming aware of this problem, and  I would like help to fight somehow, because thanks to the nature, we have a life and we cant not destroy it , because we are also destroying ourselves.

Post 4: Election day

Hii! Today I going to talk about the election day.

I think to vote it is a right and opportunity for choose to someone that represents your ideals. The truth is that It’s a complicated topic for my, because I do not like much  the politic, in fact It is not the politic, it’’s just that I do not like the politician of today, because I feel that all or majority, they are  more interested in money than in the country, it is something to see the senators increasing his salary instead  of worrying of the people who really need money.

In the last election , I did not go to vote, because  the candidates don’t represent me and  they were candidates had been in the office of major previously,  they promised something for to get better the village, but  they never interest for my village and only improved things of the principal town. With this candidates I not made me want go to vote.

In the next elections, I hope introduce new candidates with different ideas, because changes do well, When We choose a candidate who won above, we are not making any changes.

Post 2: The best concert I've ever seen

Hi! in this new post, I going to talk about  the best concert  I've ever seen, in reality, I have never gone to great concert, because I have not a favourite band o singer, but  I will speak  about a concert that I go with my family and it was ver nice.

four years ago, the group Illapu turned fourty and throw a concert, I and my family (mom, Dad and sisters) decide go see them,because we like very much the music of this group, we were in the front row, and I remember we wear posters that say: Eric Maluenda, because it was the name for one of the group members, he died to long time, and his voice was very special and unique, The group members reading our poster and they thanked us. Later they begin play their song and I and my family dance and sand all  their song, we love andean music, because my father lived in Iquique, he born there, and he taught us this music since I and my sisters were kids.

Post 1: A Country I would like to visit

In this world  there many different country to know, I would like to visit Italy, because is a country with many beatiful places and it has an architecture very interesting with history.

Once I was watching TV. and begin a movie called " Bajo el Sol de Toscana", the movie show many different places of Italy, but it focused on Toscana, for this movie, I fell in love of this place, because it is very quiet, and the architecture it's  antique, it's a place with a combination  of agriculture and a little forest, in the coast  the sea is very beatiful, it has a different colors as light-blue, blue and greenish. Toscana it is a place perfect for have a life in the countryside.

Also I would like visit to Rome Coliseum, because it is very attractive  and I would like know part of Rome history, I feel that if you go to Italy, you must visit the Coliseum, because it's something characteristic of this country.

My name is Catalina Cáceres Ayala, I am 20 years old and I study forestry in Universidad de Chile, this is my second year studying  forestry, I'm very satisfied with this career.
This is the last level of English and I hope to learn more, because know English is very important  for the profesional life. I would like the class is entertaining and practical for learn a diferent way.

LEVEL 4 TERM 2 2016

This is the last post , I had never used this website, but I had heard and seen about this website, my experience with the blog finally it was nice, because  I really  enjoyed writing post, I will not lie, sometimes I did not like write, because I did not like topics or I did not know to write, many times I had the draw a blank, because  I did not know how to fill all the requested words, but I had fun writing in some topics, because I was filled with good memories and I liked share this moment, as A photograph that I like, Animals and vacations, in those post I elaborate on and I finished quickly.
I suggest that some topics is free choice, because it would be more entertaining write about thing that do you like. At first I started using much the translator, but with the time, I just sought specific words for complement my sentence. I hope keep learning english, because it is fundamental for my profesional career and for all the people.

I very liked share my experience and memories with you, I hope see you in the other level classmates! see you soon :)

Vacations!!

Hi bloggers!! The topic of this post it is very interesting for me, I liked very much, because the vacations it’s very entertaining, I have known many different places in the vacations. When I was a kid, in  the winter vacations, I and my family went to Iquique to visit the my father’s family, and that time, I travel by plane for first time in my life, I remember being very excited and happy. During those vacations, we went to know the party “La Tirana”, I was amazed with the dances and dancers, what more I attracted my attention, it was dance with devil masks, it was very beautiful. Those vacation were very good because, I newly was meeting to my father’s family, from there I can remember them.

When I was younger, in the secondary school, my vacations started different, because I started out with my friends, the summer of my last year in the secondary school, I and my friends went to the Pichilemu beach, for six days, that time, I had a lot of fun, because all the night, I and my friends were going to party in the beach, until sunrise, I remember coming all the night at 7 or 8 am with shoes full of sand, it were kilos and kilos, later we slept until 2 or 3 pm, after we were up for go to eat and go to know other places, as Punta de Lobos, instead of surfers, it is very nice and beautiful  place. I have had very good vacations in my life.

Hello classmates, in this post I going to talk about the subject  I've enjoyed studying.
In this semester, I have many subjetc that I liked very much as Structure and functioning of ecosystems and Growth and development of trees, the first subject study ecosystemic flow, food chains, disturbance in ecosystem and other thing, it's very interesting lear about this, but the subject I've enjoyed studying is the second mentioned, because is a subject related with biology, and I like very much all the biology.
In  Growth and development of trees,  it studied many topic as nutrient transport, water flow, microscopic and macroscopic characteristics of wood, natural and artificial pruning and environmental stresses, among others, this subject  has its degree of difficulty, as every subject, but the topics that I like is the nutrient transport, water flow and evironmental stresses, because it is related with hormones, cell, cycles, among others, in this topics I get a good grade. The laboratory classes also  it's very interesting, and it´s more entertaining, because it´s practical and learn more.

In this post, the topic that I chose is a career related website, I prefer the website www.conaf.cl , because is the principal website related with my career, when I have to make a report for the university, I always take the information from here, because is the safest and updated. Also  www.infor.gob.cl is other website related with forestal área, that it has many information about the forestal projects. However I always use the CONAF website.

This websites it gives us news all for the forest community, also it contains information of all the National Parks and National Reserve with maps of where it is troughout the country.

Also the CONAF website contains the laws and decree law related with the native forests, besides is very educative especially in the field forest, because teaches about the forest fire, as prevent and control, and historical statistics about the forest fire and about as restore the affected area, anyway www.conaf.cl is a complete website with all the information for a forestry, because it has everythings related with forest.

Hello everyone! After a long time, I come back to write in this blog, now I going to tell you about the music.

I love music, I fell the music is essential in human life. However I do not have a favorite style of music, I like many different group of music as flume, disclosure, coldplay, skrillex, illapu and many others group and soloist. When I study, I like very much listen to music, because I focus more in subject and I do not get bored, I start listening relaxed music as the group flume, coldplay and disclosure, then when I get bored, I start listening more motivated music as dancehall, electronic and reggaetón.

When I travell to my home in Rosario, I enjoy the trip listening music and contemplating the landscape, although the view is not the best, I relax very much in the bus listening group of music as flume and disclosure, the music of this groups, I makes me feel the quiet and relax, but I do not feel it is my favorite music.

hello everyone!! in this post I go talk about a photograph, this photograph have a moment very important and special for me, the people who are in the picture are my friends, I and they  have a friendship very special, we are very united.

This picture was taken in the city Viña del Mar, when  I and my boyfriend wen to visit to the rest  of our friends that were studying there, I and my boyfriend arrive that day, in the afternoon we meet with our friends in the beach, I remember that all plays volleyball, we laugh very much and finished exhausted, after  playing, all our went to eat pizza in the local "Pizza Hut", we have many hungry and in the moment that the pizzas are served, the silence overpower of us, until we finished to eat. Later  each one of us went to yours deparment  for get ready for later go to the party, next  we returned to find, we went  to drink to a local, when de alcohol was very cheap, later we went to dancing, this night was very crazy and interntaining.

This day it was  very special for me, because I had fun so much!!, and the picture represent that day , with the best persons in my life, apart from my family.

 Today I go to tell you about the animals, when I was a little girl, I hada cat, this cat was color black and was very loving, the cat had not  name it was just car. The cat had many cats, but to my parents do not like this animal, so they heasted the little cats, when I and my sisters were not at home, but never give to the mom cat, this situation happened several time, I remember I and my sisters cried when we did not see to the little cats in home.

Once the cat had three little cats, and this cats were not given away, this was the last little cats, because the mom cat died months later, I see die to my cat, it was very sad for my. Of the tree little cats, two it left the house , and only one stay in home.

Months later a dog arrived to my home, this dog was a gift for my cousin, and she live in deparment so she asked to my parents that this dog live in my house because, the house have a big courtyard, my parents accept. This dog call "hugo" is a cocker very playful, Hugo did not like the cats, and bothered very much to the only cat, so the cat got bored and left home. Know  we only have to Hugo, I love this animal, Hugo is a old dog, but in spite of age, is a dog very active.

I have not a favourite piece of technology, but  I talk about a object essential for all the people today , the cellular:

In the present this object is very necesary for communicate among us, is very easy and fast  call to long distance, before the cellular served only for do calls and send text message, however with the years, the technology increased and the cellular, today, it has many applications as plays, we can see movies, read books, chat in line with other persons, navigate for Internet and many other things, which it keeps us informed all the time.

This object has donde something indispensable for the people, however very few persons can live without the cellular, now all the people need  to be connect to the social networks and the verbal communication between us it has gone losing...

Hello  everyone! today I'm going to tell you about why I choose forestry:

When I did  the selection, all my options it was career associated with the nature, I really like this.

Forestry it was not my first option, it was marine biology in other university, my score it was not enough, despite this, I was very happy for enter in this career, because also I liked very much. Other options it was Medicine Veterinary at Universidad de Chile and Environmental Biology in the same University.

Forestal engineering did attract my attention, because it  had many outings to the nature and practical work, also the curriculum map looked very interesting, besides I was curious for study the behavior of the plants and tree.

I'm really happy  for to find the right track...
